  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp:
    • Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with paprika, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:
    • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about a minute.
    • Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  3. Add Lemon Juice:
    • Stir in the fresh lemon juice and cook for an additional 1 minute, allowing the sauce to combine and the flavors to meld.
  4. Garnish and Serve:
    • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
    • Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
